JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: Perkins Coie is seeking a qualified, dynamic individual to play an integral role in the firm\'s legal talent development efforts supporting the evaluation and development of associates, counsel, non-partnership track attorneys, and patent agents as the Senior Attorney Development Manager. Reporting to the Director of Attorney Development, the position also collaborates closely with talent advisors, practice directors/managers, the diversity and inclusion team, the compensation team, HR counsel, and others to ensure a positive and inclusive experience as it relates to learning, development, integration, evaluation, and promotion. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation. Performance Evaluation Oversee the evaluation, feedback, and promotion processes for associates, counsel, non-partnership track attorneys, and patent agents. Ensure evaluations are delivered in a timely, fair, and equitable process. Manage, implement, and document policies, procedures, and practices related to the evaluation, feedback, and promotion processes. Develop and recommend policies, procedures, and practices as necessary, including revisions to the evaluation, self-evaluation, and related materials. Integrate professional and legal skills competencies into the evaluation, feedback, and promotion processes. Manage and draft communications related to the evaluation, feedback, and promotion processes. Problem-solve and respond to questions about these processes from all stakeholders. Serve as a liaison to practice group chairs, subgroup leaders, office managing partners, talent advisors, practice directors/managers, the diversity and inclusion team, HR counsel, and others. Manage and facilitate the work of the evaluation committees. Advise the Associate & Counsel Evaluation Committee chair and the chair of the evaluation committee for non-partnership track attorneys and patent agents on policies, procedures, and practices related to the evaluation and promotion processes. Manage the Associate & Counsel Evaluation Committee orientation and training. Serve as the key point of contact for individual committee members.
