American Family Insurance - Corporate Senior Financial Analyst, Claims (Flex Office/Home) in Madison, Wisconsin
You will use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to develop new insights, enhance understanding of our performance and guide decision making. Develop dashboards, financial models, and advanced statistical models.
You will analyze claim expense performance for AFICS. Includes development and analysis of budget, staff models and claim volume. Partner with Line of Business leaders to understand goals of performance and recommend alternative options to manage divisional expenses.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics.
Position Compensation Range:
$76,000.00 - $125,000.00

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate business analysis to support our decisions using statistical modeling and other business analysis tools.
Collaborate with partners to define important financial and operational metrics to monitor and report performance.
Collaborate with partners in the delivery of important performance analysis.
Build models used to project our results; enhance the model where there is value in adjusting the models.
Ensure analysis accuracy and integrity and explain performance drivers and provide insights into performance trends.
Develop, tests, and deploys automated reporting solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes.
May be requested to complete other assignments or participate in projects based on skills, achievements, or experience.
Requirements:
Your experience with Workday, querying tools (i.e. GCP), and Microsoft Suite are beneficial.
Demonstrated experience providing customer-focused solutions or service.
Experience with forecasting techniques or statistical analysis.
Demonstrated experience using data tools to build complex formulas and create reports.
Understanding of software tools to query and report data.
Experience with budgeting and financial analysis processes.
Ability to make connections between operational processes and expense and measure the impact between operational decisions and effect on expense.
