WPS Health Solutions Senior Business Development Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin

Role Snapshot:
As our Senior Business Development Analyst, you will support our WPS's growth strategy through federal, state, and local agency opportunity research, prepare materials to support bid decisions, and collaborate with the business development teams on growth activities. You will be a critical, foundational member on the business development team and will tackle projects varying size. Salary: $90,000 112,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

You have experience supporting business development and sales activities such as customer intel, partnering with both large and small businesses, price to win, proposal development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You’ll think strategically.
You’ll research potential opportunities for our federal and commercial lines of business.
You’ll support our federal healthcare business development strategy by analyzing intelligence information and prepare presentation materials for decision reviews.
You’ll maintain registration records for potential client procurement websites and platforms.
You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the business development lifecycle from business development to capture to proposal activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
1 or more years of Business Development work experience in an enterprise level environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3 or more years of federal government and/or commercial business development experience.
An understanding of various stages of federal, state/local, and/or commercial procurement cycles (RFI, RFP, Pre-Solicitation, Sources Sought, etc .).
Proposal development experience for federal, state/local, and/or commercial customers.
Professional writing experience.
Experience working in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
