This position will support our Trachte facility in Madison, WI. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Reporting to the VP Sales, the Core Market Sales Director is primarily responsible for attaining or exceeding team sales goals by recruiting and developing a high performing sales team, setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable, directing sales efforts with specific customer groups, growing sales of existing customers and new accounts. Core markets include utility, T&D and renewables markets. BUSINESS STRATEGY -Build, lead, and mentor the core sales team driving a customer first and results oriented high performance culture -Establish and execute effective short and long term business strategies for growing core customers based on voice of customer, competitor and market trends -Evaluate industry and business trends for potential impact; identify key opportunities and threats within the marketplace -Be a creative problem solver; identify growth opportunities in the market and coordinate cross functional teams by crafting, communicating, and completing the strategic plan. -Analyze the actual financial performance of the business against forecast/budget with the objective of exceeding established targets. -Maintain and cultivate customer relationships with emphasis on key decision makers and influencers. -Develop and implement sales training tools and processes.
