JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab - 32608 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 75% FTE, day/evening shift. Holiday rotation. On-call hours required. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered. Hours are based off of the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable We are seeking a Registered Nurse: * Be an integral member of a talented multidisciplinary team working together to deliver quality care to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, undergoing cardiovascular procedures from diagnostic cardiac catheterization to emergent STEMI (heart attack) patients. * Has a strong critical care background and is ready to expand their skill set to include a specialty in cardiovascular procedural nursing. * Practices in an environment that focuses on patient- and family- centered care. * Is highly engaged in acquiring new skills and integrating evidence-based nursing practices into the unit culture. * Participates in shared governance, with a unit-based council to help support and drive quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change. Preferred - Relevant RN Experience Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact. BLS/CPR Certification. ACLS and PALS within six (6) months of hire.
