About the role and what you’ll be doing:
The PrincipalProduct Manager, Mainframeas aServiceis aglobalroleresponsible formanaging our suite of mainframeinfrastructure managedservicesand the Independent Software Vendor (ISV)products that our customersleveragewithin their organization.Businesses thatutilizemainframestoday rely onthemto host their most critical application workloads.At Ensono, webelieve that mainframes will continueto be a core infrastructure platform, and we areinvesting in the next generation of mainframe services to delivera platform that isflexiblein supporting mission criticalapplicationsand datawhich is at the center of our customer’shybrid IT ecosystem.
The position requires management of the complete product experience, leading all aspects of the product’s journey – defining the product strategy, positioning, competitive analysis, and differentiation, and growing theMainframeas a Servicesportfolio byleveragingbusiness and technical experience. The successful candidate is a market expert and must have demonstrable experienceofthe IBM Mainframe, mainframe applications and the ISV software ecosystem.This role will focus onthe private or dedicated customer, and the shared or multi-tenant mainframesand will be the thought leader for mainframe infrastructure and the software partners that play a significant role in how the mainframe is configured for business across multiple market verticals.

Key Areas of Focus for this Role
This role requires a strategic thinker, problem solver, and acreative product manager who is respected, helpful and resourceful.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience with IBM Mainframe architecture & software (e.g., IBM Z, Broadcom, BMC-AMI).
The ideal candidatewill have a deep knowledge of IBM Mainframe hardware and software commercialization drivers thatdeterminehow service providers define and build solutions for customers.
Managethe Mainframe and multi-tenant services strategies, owningtheproduct roadmap, product feature set, and product communication.
Lead product launches and new product introductions working withSales &Marketing using market-driven product data and competitive intelligence.
Develop productrequirementMVPs; working in collaboration with key stakeholdersincluding clientsto prioritize andvalidatetechnology, features, product strategy and direction.
This individual will work closely with Partners, ProductEngineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teamscross functionallyto provide thought leadership andwilloverseetheproduct process fromideaconception tolaunch.
Develop data-driven product positioning, pricing, value propositions, content creation, and messaging that reflects target markets and target personas working with Product Marketing but be decisive to act based on your marketexpertise.
Strong background inservice provider and managed services offer development,consumption billing,and commercialization.
Be a key point of contact for sales and solution architects for modern cloud-connected mainframe solutions and services.
The ideal candidate willhavesignificant hands-onexperienceinanyone of the following areas,zOSmainframe operations, batch controlscheduling applications,capacitymanagement, CICS,and or database applications (e.g., DB2, IMS).

Required Qualifications
7+ yearsoffirst-hand experience inmainframes and IBM and ISV software products.
7+ years of relevant experience working for a Managed IT Service, mainframe outsourcer, and/orHosting Provider.
7+ years’ experience in product managementand offercommercializationat aservice provider.
A bachelor’s degree in business or economics or equivalent experience.
Data analytics and integration experience.
Ability to translate technical, complex requirements into simple, actionable terms, and to commercialize offers for customer consumption.
Ability to manage multiple priorities infast-paced environment with flawless execution, working collaboratively with cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Program Management in a business or technical capacity.
Strong understanding of IT operations and service management.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $135,00 to $205,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
