UW MEDICAL FOUNDATION Patient Access Representative Ambulatory in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Patient Access Representative Ambulatory (Float) - 34394 Work Schedule : This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Potential float hours- 7:15 am-3:45 pm, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, and 11:45 am -8:15 pm. If coverage is needed employee will be notified of change by 6:30 am. We are seeking a Patient Access Representative Ambulatory (Float) to: * Enter and verify demographic and insurance information, identify and collect patient financial obligations, and register or admit the patient. * Promote a positive patient and family experience, exhibit empathy, engage in compassionate collections, and demonstrate strong communication skills. * Cover a variety of clinic locations and hours as needed for operational needs.
