JOB REQUIREMENTS: Medical Assistant or LPN - Corporate Health Category: Healthcare Employment Type: Contract To Hire Reference: BH-371148 Company Health & Wellness Medical Assistant OR Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a part-time to full-time temp-to-hire contract opportunity with Yoh\'s corporate office client located in Madison, WI 53705. This job is anticipating to be temp-to-hire for the right candidate. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees of a corporate office. Shifts are 20 hours per week, ideally: Tuesday 8:15am to 5:15pm, Wednesday 9:15am to 2:15pm, and Thursday 8:15am to 4:15pm. Can be flexible if needed. If hired on long-term, shifts will change to approx. 34 hours a week, Monday-Friday. Top Skills You Should Possess: Active/unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state of Wisconsin OR Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate Preferred experience in: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting Must be confident with blood draws What You\'ll Be Doing: Room patients and take vitals Assist providers with ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc. Provide wellness materials/information Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. If needed, may assist with administrative tasks such as: filing, data entry, scanning, stocking rooms, etc. What You Need to Bring to the Table: Prior experience using electronic medical records (EPIC) Flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills BLS certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted) TB (PPD) test from within the last year (or must be willing to obtain upon being offered the position) What\'s In It For You?
