Job Overview:
APTIM's Energy Transition team is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Marketing Specialist to support Wisconsin's Focus on Energy Program. The Marketing Specialist will be based in Madison/Wisconsin and responsible for coordinating energy efficiency marketing efforts across various program implementers and building awareness for the Focus on Energy program. This position reports to the Marketing and Communications Director and is part of the Marketing team.
APTIM's work in Wisconsin has centred on administration of Focus on Energy, one of the longest standing energy efficiency and clean energy programs in the country. This award-winning program serves 107 utility territories across the Wisconsin market and supports more than 50,000 energy efficiency projects annually. Coordination with the teams administering and implementing Focus on Energy programs will be essential to create a seamless customer experience.

Our consultants proactively collaborate with clients to define and implement strategies and campaigns around key business drivers, with the primary focus of finding and delivering high-impact projects exceeding expectations and meeting the unique needs for our commercial and retail clients.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be an active contributor to the creation and execution of marketing projects, partner with various departments, interact with stakeholders within and external to the organization and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials. This role requires someone who can be the glue that holds the marketing team together, fostering collaboration and ensuring smooth communication.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Write copy for brochures, newsletters, success stories and other communication materials.
Review and provide input on marketing materials from internal and external team members.
Manage Wrike software tool and process to ensure material reviews are consistent and timely.
Maintain and track membership and sponsorship activities.
Respond to marketing requests from customers and stakeholders.
Coordinate marketing content for stakeholders and clients including content for newsletter articles, bill inserts, ads, etc.
Assist in the planning, creation and execution of marketing campaigns and projects.
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
Maintain project schedules and track progress against deadlines.
Prepare and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and reports.
Manage and update the marketing database and customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2+ years' experience in marketing and communications.
Ability to think critically to solve issues and provide resolutions.
Outstanding written and oral communications skills with the ability to develop and deliver effective marketing materials and presentations.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management, project management, and follow-through.
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
Excellent planning skills with proven experience in project coordination.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment within the team and the broader organization.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Wrike software.
1+ years' experience in the energy efficiency industry preferred.
Willingness to jump in where needed.
