BETTER TOGETHER IT Senior Systems Administrator The IT Senior Systems Administrator\'s role is to develop, test, implement and maintain systems to support GHC-SCW\'s healthcare and Insurance operations. The incumbent will support solutions related to enterprise applications, virtualization, website hosting, SAN and backup technologies. This includes performing routine audits of systems and software; performing system backups and data recovery when necessary; applying application and operating system updates, patches, configuration changes; and installing and configuring new hardware and software. The IT Senior Systems Administrator will assist in overseeing the physical security, integrity, and safety of the GHC-SCW software systems and hardware. The position is expected to provide leadership and technical guidance to Data Center Staff, monitoring project status and results, and facilitating teamwork and accountability. Work assignments are difficult and complex and incumbent receives limited review of recommendations and solutions by manager. Work products impact overall business activities. The incumbent works under the leadership and direction of the IT Manager.
