IMSolutions is looking for Federal Grants Management Specialists to join us at our client,The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
This position is 100% remote.
As a Grants Management Specialist, I (GMS I) ,you will performgrant administration functions toassistthe Government PCO/Grants Officer in grantcloseoutsand financial reporting.
These functions will include:
Perform the administration or termination, and/or closeout of grants, and/or grantsassistanceand agreement awards.
Organize,file, and maintain all current project documentsand enter information into and manage the digital project databases.
Coordinate and do variousgrants-related activities.Knowledge of the federal grants process is highly desired.
*The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, familiar with Federal financial processes, able to work well with people both inside and outside of government, and comfortable with understanding andensuringothers follow regulations and other requirements.
To qualify , you will have:
2+ years of Federal grants experience
Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.
Knowledge offederal grants laws, regulations, and policies andan understanding of business and industry grant practices.
Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technicalassistanceand recommendations to meet thegrant's intent.
U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit andresidingin the U.S. for three (3) or more years.
Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance, which must beadjudicatedfavorably for you to begin working. This requires fingerprinting and reporting on yourpreviousemployment, residence, education, and financial and legal background. Candidates may be disqualified for federal or state convictions of crimes, military court-martials, delinquentfederal debt including taxes and student loans, current use of illegal drugs, or lying on their application.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of eRA Commons.
Certified Federal Grants Manager certification through NGMA.
Base compensation range and benefits:
$45,000 to $55,000—Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors suchas education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
