This position will support our Trachte facility in Madison, WI. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE: -Lead and mentor electrical engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and innovation. -Manage engineering resources assigned to projects from feasibility to completion, ensuring that all work meets functional, quality, and cost standards. -Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on customer needs, ensuring solutions align with both technical specifications and market demands. -Be responsible for project commitments, resource allocation, and budget to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. -Review and approve product designs for compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, and industry standards. -Analyze product performance data, resolve failures, and provide insights to improve reliability and performance. -Champion design excellence by staying ahead of industry trends, technology advancements, and implementing standard processes. -Drive process improvements to improve team efficiency, product quality, and innovation. YOU HAVE: -Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineering (PE) certification a plus. -7+ years of electrical engineering experience with a track record of successfully leading engineering projects and teams. -Experience in product design, including electrical systems, embedded controls, and/or power distribution systems. -Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and develop engineering teams to exceed performance expectations. -Proven track record to manage numerous projects...
