JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Office of Informatics and Information Technology is looking for an outstanding DevOps Engineer II to contribute to their growing Azure Platform and support its infrastructure growth. Reporting to the Cloud Infrastructure Manager and working under the direction of the integrated Platform X Team, the DevOps Engineer II is responsible for introducing processes, tools, and methodologies which supports the needs of the software development lifecycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. The DevOps Engineer II will also be responsible for the deployment, modification, and configuration of existing open-source software tools to improve access to research datasets. The incumbent will demonstrate their experience as a seasoned DevOps Engineer II by implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery of pipelines through various tools such as Terraform and Ansible. As a key member of the integrated Platform X Team, the role of this DevOps engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues that arise, configuring logging & alerting mechanism, and engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a solid work ethic and bring an enthusiastic and professional attitude to the workplace. Responsibilities: Designs, integrates, delivers, and provides day-to-day maintenance to ensure subsystems and infrastructure function together and business needs are met. Provides operational support of applications or services, development operations (DevOps), through automation an/or infrastructure as code.
