ISTHMUS DENTAL Dental Hygienist: Full-time in MADISON, Wisconsin

Responsibilities Include: Welcome patients & perform medical history review Oral Prophylaxis including subgingival removal of plaque and calculus Gather diagnostics including x-rays and intra-oral camera pictures as needed Provide comprehensive periodontal probing exam & diagnosis Provide periodontal therapy or treatment as needed Provide fluoride treatment or sealants as needed Perform intra-oral & extra-oral exams and report findings to the dentist Educate patients on oral hygiene and pertinent conditions Take scans or impressions for nightguards or whitening trays Administer local anesthetic (with valid certification) Maintain, disinfect & sterilize instruments & operatory Accurately document finished or pending treatment & pertinent observations in chart on dental software ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene Current CPR Certification Active Wisconsin Dental Hygiene License (RDH preferred) Licensed to administer local anesthetic Dentrix knowledge Anticipated hours include Monday Friday, No Weekends, No Evenings You can become a vital part of our dental team, make positive impacts on patients\' lives, and be embraced by our friendly work family.
