JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Work as a custodial crew member for University Health Services. We\'re offering a \$2,000 hiring bonus. Apply today! Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM The Custodial Services team provides services to multiple floors in the 333 East Campus Mall. These floors include offices, meeting space and break areas. There are two medical clinic floors and one floor that is primarily made up of the mental health clinic. Unique cleaning guidelines may be in place in some of these areas. Responsibilities: Cleans facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours. Ensures cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas. 50% Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables 10% Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities 10% Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed 10% Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs 10% Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice 10% Performs light maintenance duties as assigned (e.g., change light bulbs, move furniture, wash windows) Institutional Statement on Diversity: Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison.
