JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The University of Wisconsin System is transforming the administrative infrastructure within the University system. The overall transformation is a people, process, policy, and technology initiative which will include business process standardization, optimization, and redesign in the areas of finance, human resources, and research administration, and will include implementation of Workday to support the changes. The overall objective of the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) is to right-size the administrative complexity to advance the missions of education, research, and outreach. The Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) is transforming the Finance, Human Resources, and Research Administration support environment across the University of Wisconsin System, while focusing on people, processes, and technology. This includes the implementation of a new Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system (Workday) to support the changes. The activities will include the review and redesign of business processes (including use of ancillary and bolt-on IT systems), redesign of the chart of accounts, and integration of efforts with several ongoing University and UW System projects. The Workday Report Developer will serve a vital role within ATP. As part of this effort and in preparation for a new ERP, the University is hiring Workday Report Developers. Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and troubleshoots complex core Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence build, test, and deployment activities. May oversee and evaluate the work of lower-level data warehouse developers. 15% Conducts assessments and/or provides recommendations of source connections options for access and optimal data pipelines for development.
