Job Description

As a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing the day‐to‐day strategic and operational support for the DE&I team!

This role will report to the Director, DEI, and will work with the DE&I team to drive growth strategies sought at advancing DEI goals internally and externally at Anywhere while expanding our diverse agent and broker network throughout all of our brands, including Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, Century 21 Real Estate, Coldwell Banker, Corcoran, ERA Real Estate and Sotheby’s International Realty. Essential job duties, including but not limited to:

  • Program & Project Management

  • Lead programs that improve inclusion and the talent experience.

  • Provide direct support to our varied internal and external partners on DE&I integration.

  • Manage project milestones and proactively anticipate roadblocks to ensure timely completion with high standards of execution.

  • Coordinate and develop collateral to optimally communicate DEI strategy and business alignment.

  • Work with external vendors to coordinate and lead projects, awards/recognition, and audits

  • Collaborate with cross‐functional collaborators to strategize, plan, coordinate, promote, and implement enterprise‐wide experiences and initiatives.

Team Operations

  • Maintain meeting and event calendars, in addition to critical metric tracking and document storage systems

  • Develop and maintain DEI‐related communications, collateral, templates, learning materials and resources, including the DEI

  • SharePoint site experience

  • Proactively monitor progress toward stated outcomes through identified measures and indicators and communicate timely progress updates.

  • Assimilate data from multiple sources and create slide decks to represent progress of DEI initiatives, included analysis and reporting

  • Schedule and produce internal and external meetings, events, speaking engagements and more

  • Be responsible for the DEI team email alias, monitor employee engagement on internal chat channels and develop responses

  • Strategize program optimizations and adjust metrics of success as needed.

Strategic Support

  • Support operations of Anywhere’s Employee Resources Groups and industry trade partners (AREAA, LGBTQ+ RE Alliance, NAHREP, NAREB). Assist with the development and implementation of events to increase engagement, market awareness, and their impact on our business and talent growth.

  • Stay alert on current trends in the industry, present emerging best practices and benchmark leading companies

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • This role requires you to work across functions and departments with a data‐forward approach to support the enterprise and all Anywhere brands.

  • You will regularly interact with internal and external partners, so the ability to multi‐task with urgency, handle contending priorities and work in a deadline driven environment with accuracy is important.

  • Proactive and creative with excellent presentation and written communication skills, problem solving, decision making and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint

  • Demonstrated ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to present options for decision making

  • 5 years in a communications, administrative or project management role preferred, with one year of DEI experience preferred

  • Excellent time management skills: working with employees, business partners and management, often handling multiple projects at one time. Ability to react quickly to change and keep calm under tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and in a distributed remote team environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources or other related field (or equivalent experience) preferred but not required.
