The EMS Dispatcher is responsible for answering emergency calls and dispatching the appropriate ambulances and other agencies in a timely fashion; clerical duties as assigned.

Must possess a High School diploma; ability to communicate and deliver pre-hospital emergency medical care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and occasional neonate patients; may be required to pass a physical agility test; maintains AHA BLS; possesses or will obtain within one year of employment the National Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification.
