Job Summary

At SuperATV we are working to WOW our customers with innovative, race-tested products and world-class customer service. Currently, we have an opportunity to add an Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineer. This role will continue SuperATV’s growth and impact in the off-roading industry.

Primary Duties

  • Liaison between New Product Development (NPD) and Manufacturing facilities.

  • Responsible for Design for Manufacturing (DFM), ensures new parts being developed can be made on current machines and tooling or recommends machines and tooling needed to support a new part.

  • Actively participates throughout the New Product Development (NPD) process, to identify and resolve any production issues.

  • Ensures prototype builds follow production intent process and development is accurate and encompassing to launch parts on time and within budget.

  • Conducts research on new and improved processes, tooling, and equipment for manufacturing.

  • Contributes to design and planning of equipment layout, based on best practices and standards for building the product.

  • Responsible for creation of work instructions for new products through the launch process.

  • Responsible for evaluating processes, tooling, and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

  • Participates in make versus buy analysis and estimating production costs.

  • Leads meetings to track and report the progress of critical projects, identifies roadblocks to success, necessary countermeasures, and amendments to development plans.

  • Finds ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have real-world experience with facility layout, process improvements, metal fabrication, machining, welding, and shop floor experience. To be successful, you must be able to multitask, be an effective communicator, prioritize, manage time efficiently, problem solve and be a self-starter.
