YOUR ROLE

  • Working closely with key customer OEM design centers, developing proposals and value propositions for new technology into the body structure systems.

  • Utilizing a broad team of cross functional experts, driving the Advanced Design and Development of part level concept design prior to hand over serial development team.

  • Strong coordination with KAM & Engineering teams to target according to acquisition list mentality.

  • Hunt prioritized opportunities and promote solutions via detailed technical discussions/presentations focus on predevelopment projects

  • Fast technical/commercial feasibility check on project level (go/ no-go)

  • Act as market, component and technical expert for Sales Team

  • Pursue and win selected new custom programs & hand them over to account/sales management in alignment with SBU strategy

  • Support account/sales management in commercial responsibilities and in building “value propositions” for technology introductions

  • Identify efficiencies and initiate Cost Management measures with PLM

  • Manage interface with Product Development in case of required product modifications

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field

  • Preferably 5+ years of total experience in engineering capacity in an Automotive Supplier or Automotive OEM, with project management experience to CAE (not necessary to be a CAE expert)

  • Strong background in automotive body structures, with exposure to crash system applications

  • Strong track record in influencing cross-functional teams for change management

The salary for this role is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
