YOUR ROLE
Formulates Polyurethane based adhesives and sealants for multi-functional applications
Become part of a highly motivated, international cross-functional team in the field of bonding and sealing
Develop product requirements and solutions for current and future applications at global customers
Use own profound understanding of the customer needs and translate these into innovative, best in class products
Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers, start-ups, and external research organizations to stay current on the latest technology trends and how they could be leveraged into new applications.
Traveling of up to 10% is requirred.
YOUR SKILLS
Masters Degree (or equivalent experience) in Materials Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
A minimum of 5 years industrial experience in formulating Polyurethane based systems, preferred in Polyurethane based structural adhesives
Demonstrated knowledge in pre-polymer formulation, catalyst selection and Polyurethane hybrid systems
Understanding of product applications and testing criteria needed for current and future automotive applications
Insights of product offerings, industry trends and ongoing research in the Polyurethane area, especially with focus on sustainability
Detailed understanding of adhesives formulation, testing, application and curing of Polyurethane based systems
Strong team spirit, appreciation of an agile working environment and ability to lead by example
The salary for this role is $95,000.00 - $105,300.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
