Nesco Resource Lubrication Technician in Madison Heights, Michigan
Nesco Resource is sourcing for a Lubrication Technician on behalf of a Tier One Automotive Supplier in Warren, MI.
Summary of Position: The Lubrication Technician is responsible for maintaining coolant, lubricant, washer solutions, and oil levels throughout the shop while ensuring accurate recordkeeping. This role requires performing minor mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic repairs as needed and providing support to manufacturing operations as requested.
Start Time: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Shift Premium .25
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain coolant, oil, lubricant, and washer solution levels.
- Record maintenance activities to ensure proper documentation.
- Perform minor repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
- Handle, store, and transfer drums, carboys, and bulk liquids safely and efficiently.
- Operate a Hi-Lo safely to complete daily tasks.
- Adhere to ISO 14000 and stormwater run-off requirements.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with team members and supervisors.
- Support general manufacturing operations as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of oils, coolants, and lubricants.
- Familiarity with ISO 14000 standards and stormwater run-off requirements.
- Ability to safely handle and transfer bulk liquids and containers.
- Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication.
- Operational Skills: Proficient in operating a Hi-Lo safely.
- Independence: Able to function with minimal supervision.
