We are looking for individuals that have excellent customer service skills, a flexible schedule, enjoy interacting with and caring for all kinds of animals, and enjoy working in a high-energy environment.

Requirements:

1+ years experience as a receptionist for a veterinary hospital

Familiarity with Avimark practice management software

Cheerful and helpful disposition with others, including clients and other employees

The ability to handle many tasks efficiently

Duties and responsibilities:

Close/open hospital for business

Schedule appointments with clients

Check in/out patients for visits, hospitalization, surgeries, emergencies and boarding

Screen records at check in to verify all routine procedures such as vaccinations, heartworm tests, etc. are up-to-date.

Serve as the lead point of contact for the hospital

Help manage inventory input, ordering and reporting

Manage multiple telephone calls, emails, faxes and online portal contacts daily

Handle all payments, including retail sales and service dues

Manage end-of-day financial reports and making deposits to bank

Enter reminders for patients and scan records to attach to patient files in Avimark

West Madison Veterinary Hospital is located off of Balch Rd and US 72 in Madison, AL.
