Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector with a strong understanding in electronics assembly and soldering with also a Quality control expierence. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading prints and drawings and have experience with SMT and Thru Hole techniques. You will be responsible for assembling electro-magnetic assemblies using small hand tools. This role requires good visual acuity and the ability to use your hands effectively while sitting and standing.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand technical drawings to assemble electro-magnetic assemblies.

  • Perform soldering tasks and handle electronics assembly.

  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality control and assurance.

  • Utilize small hand tools for assembly tasks.

  • Apply SMT and Thru Hole techniques in assembly.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in electronics assembly and soldering.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.

  • Experience with SMT and Thru Hole techniques.

  • Strong visual inspection skills for quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with quality inspection and assurance.

  • Familiarity with using micrometers.

  • Educational programs from institutions such as Lehigh Carbon Community College, Lehigh County Technical Institute, Lincoln Tech, or ITT are preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macungie, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
