Maintenance Mechanic III
2nd Shift
M-F 2:30P - 11P
Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and quality related problems.
TRAINING FOR THIS SHIFT MAY BE ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT FOR UP TO ONE MONTH.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
Using tools and test equipment, troubleshoot and repair any problems to the machine, following all Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Use tools to fabricate parts needed to repair machinery.
Troubleshoot servo drives, motors, and encoders.
Set preventative maintenance schedule so as not to interfere with production when possible.
Operate forklift to move materials, machinery and/or parts to and from the cage and the production area
Keep work area neat and clean.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
High School diploma/GED (minimum)
Three to five years experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
Experience using a computer for PC based operational systems, PLC system architecture installation and diagnosis
Be vigilant about safety
