Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant. Escort customers to their tables and present menus. Write down or use a digital device to record customers' food and beverage selections. Deliver orders to the correct tables promptly and accurately. Visit tables to ensure customers' satisfaction with their meals and to address any concerns. Refill beverages as needed. Remove used dishes and utensils from tables. Provide the check to customers at the end of the meal. Accept cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment and provide change if necessary. Prepare tables for the next guests by cleaning and arranging utensils, napkins, and tableware. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and server station.
