Down East Community Hospital Lead Medical Assistant in Machias, Maine
The Lead Medical Assistant performs clerical and information service functions to support efficiency and productivity of the provider. Good judgement, organizational ability, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to be self-motivated are especially important. Must be adaptable and versatile. Performs medical assisting functions to support the provision of care within the physician department. Interacts with patients, families and staff member to maximize successful patient outcomes.
3-5 years' experience as a Medical Assistant
Ability to work with the public
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
BLS
Prior EMR experience preferred.
