Job Description
We seek a skilled MIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will multitask between welding and other fabrication tasks, working from engineering drawings and Bills of Materials. This role involves adjusting welding equipment for various steel thicknesses and operating tools like grinders, drills, hand/power tools, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on various components.
Switch between welding and fabrication tasks.
Work from engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
Adjust welding settings for different steel thicknesses.
Operate welder, grinder, drill, hand/power tools, and measuring devices.
Operate overhead crane and forklift (if certified).
Perform straight-line welding in the Panel Welding department.
Execute vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding in the Tank Welding department.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with fabrication processes.
Forklift certification (if applicable).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
D1-1 certification
D1-3 certification
Experience with heavy gauge and galvanized steel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.45
