MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • Data Analyst supports the international technical support organization for the Cardiac Rhythm Management business in the analysis of data, synthesis into visually readable status overviews and implementation of data driven decision making for the organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define reporting scope, objectives and collect reporting requirements (business requirements, technical requirements, compliance requirements, and acceptance criteria) to fulfill the business needs

  • Collect and combine data from various sources (in-house developed tools, SAP Business Objects/Hana etc.) into coherent data sets

  • Analyze data across data sets for consistency and performing spot checks making use of various data sources

  • Shape data into consistent structured data sets and semantic models that are ready for further processing by other tools, making use of data repositories such as MS O365 OneLake

  • Turn data into visual dashboards, allowing for visual storytelling through data, making use of Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau and/or other tools

  • Ability to read, interpret and write Python codes for data processing in data pipelines

  • Consolidate all the available data in a data repository, ensuring the integrity and consistency of the data

  • Follow-up with stakeholders in local organizations on the progress of the program, creating status reports and ensuring performance tracking

  • Implement safeguards to guarantee data compliance and integrity

  • Act as a data steward for the organization, liaise across the teams in EMEA and APAC and align practices with the data teams in the US

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the use of SQL database or any other data repository technology

  • Experience in the use of programming languages such as DAX, Python and other (intermediate level skills or above)

  • Experience with Power BI, SAP HANA and Business Warehousing/Business Objects

  • In-depth experience in the processing and structuring of data in spreadsheets through MS Excel

  • Organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and successfully complete multiple tasks within assigned deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment

  • Ability to analyze, investigate and develop other existing tools and provide support (s.a. MS Access)

  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
