Job Description:

Our work depends on a Technology and Innovation Lead joining our team to work directly with the Science and Technology (S&T) functions and units to be integral in the development and integration of technology solutions of this TO. Additionally, the Technology and Innovation Lead is responsible for mentoring and supervising personnel to optimize the efficiency and performance of tools and the productivity of the team.

HOW A TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages Internet-based program technical efforts. Provides inputs to program product development.

  • Formulates and enforces work standards, assigns development schedules, reviews work discrepancies, supervises technical personnel, ensures conformity to all product requirements, and enforces policies, purposes, and goals.

  • Plans, controls, and integrates technical scope, schedule, and resources.

  • Responsible for successful completion of all technical tasks.

  • Supervises assigned staff and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.

  • Assures quality of technical products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.

  • Assists with preparation of technical proposals and cost proposal inputs on new task.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education : Bachelor’s Degree required in a related technical discipline; relevant education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Certifications: PMP certification and ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management highly preferred.

Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience

Security Clearance Level : TS Clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Skills:

  • Experience and understanding of technology used to conduct and assess MISO highly preferred. Familiarity with program practices and policy issues preferred

  • Experience implementing enterprise level technology solutions.

  • Experience and understanding customizing technology.

  • Experience implementing technology solutions to improve effectiveness of internet-based MISO products and activities.

  • Experience with establishing developmental environments for building software capability.

  • Ability to lead an internal DevOps team in software development, data engineering, data architecture, and data science.

  • Experience with managing security risks associated with online engagement and operating on commercial networks.

  • Knowledgeable in best practices for data collection and data management.

  • Experience with software product development planning and implementation.
