GENERAL DYNAMICS

Continuous Service Improvement Lead

Tampa, FL

Secret Security Clearance is required (TS/SCI preferred)

Serve as the Continuous Service Improvement Lead to develop, implement and manage the Continuous Service Improvement and Innovation (CSI2) practice in support of the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program in Tampa, Florida.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A CONTINUOUS SERVICE IMPROVEMENT LEAD:

Duties and Responsibilities: The CSI2 Lead for the CITS Program maintains responsibility developing and implementing the Program’s CSI2 Practice, and effectively managing its perpetual evolution as improvements and innovations are incorporated over time. Success requires routine customer engagement to understand priorities, refine requirements and communicate progress. Operating within the CITS Value Management Office, the CSI2 Lead engages and collaborates with GDIT Chief Technology Office (CTO) Solution Architects, as well as other GDIT Program leads to understand and share CSI2 best practices and strategies. Effective implementation requires coordination across the breadth of the contract as well as vendors and other non-GDIT contract personnel.

Specific position responsibilities include:

Lead design and implementation of the CSI2 Practice, strategized within the ITSM framework to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.

Manage the CSI2 Register in support of Practice activities as a tool to track and communicate progress across the contract and with the customer

Design and implement effective CSI strategies, aligning with business goals, that continuously evolve to meet business requirements.

Establish a CSI2 Practice that implements an innovative approach to USCENTCOM IT requirements, leverages advanced technologies, promotes increased efficiencies, and identifies investment opportunities and strategies to reduce cost and optimize return on investment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CSI processes with existing (Remedy) and future (ServiceNow) ITSM platforms and workflows.

Monitor performance against SLAs and work with the Quality Assurance Lead to ensure effective delivery, mitigation of risks, and appropriate corrective actions are effectively implemented.

Champion the continual identification, testing, and rapid adoption of innovative processes or technologies that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operational capabilities.

Leverage expertise in ITSM platforms (such as ServiceNow) to integrate and automate CSI processes.

Operationalize proposed ITSM frameworks, in transition periods, leading service assessments of current environment and status to bootstrap delivery CSI practices.

Engage and collaborate on solution design with solution architects, ensuring architecture meets current service requirements, is scalable, and adaptable.

Integrate with the GDIT architecture and System Engineering teams, and broadly across the organization, to advance our solutions and capabilities as a team.

Skillfully resolve complex issues related to ITSM and CSI, detail actionable insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical persons.

Bring forward your passion for Continual improvement that will advance our teams efforts to broaden our team’s impact to customer mission.

Support the development of demonstration work products, to include PowerPoint slides, narrated videos, Graphics, and marketing materials to inspire our customer about mission possibilities by leveraging unique GDIT capabilities to meet mission requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Required Skills:

- At least 5+ years of demonstrated Technical Knowledge and experience in Continual Service Improvement and IT Service Management.

- Demonstrated understanding of core ITSM Processes - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Event Management, and Knowledge Management.

- Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills that enable innovative design and technical thought leadership in a rapidly evolving business environment.

- Understanding of Project Management processes of ascertaining work, executing work, and post-project procedures.

- Experience with and the ability to develop, maintain and report on project plans and schedules.

- Demonstrated experience in using Service Now and Azure DevOps.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Desired Skills:

- A minimum five years of experience working within or in support of strategic Department of Defense (DoD) customers; preferably in the area of IT requirements.

- Familiarity with the USCENTCOM mission and areas of responsibility.

- Demonstrated understanding of DoD IT systems, tools, process, or organizations.

Required Education :

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business-related field.

Desired Education and Certifications:

- Master’s Degree and at least 10 years of experience.

- Project Management Professional Certification.

- ITIL 4 Master or ITIL 4 Managing Professional Certification.

- Six Sigma Green Belt, or ITIL Service Design.

Clearance Requirement:

- Must have a current/active Secret clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
