We are looking for a:
Operational Manager dsm-firmenich FIT
to strengthen our team in Maastricht.
As an Operational Manager you will lead the operational efforts of dsm-firmenich's FIT department, managing a dedicated team to enhance occupational health, wellbeing, and employability services for employees and management in the Netherlands. By translating strategic visions into actionable plans, managing impactful projects, and ensuring Health & Wellbeing is prioritized at all organizational levels, you drive sustainable progress. Your role involves aligning internal and external developments with tactical and operational goals, fostering strong stakeholder connections, and contributing to dsm-firmenich's global health strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the operational lead of the FIT department, with the purpose to further strengthen, develop, organize, and deliver (team-)services & expertise with regard to occupational health (WVP, absenteeism guidance, Arbo Services), wellbeing, and employability to dsm-firmenich management, dsm-firmenich employers and dsm-firmenich employees in the Netherlands (tactical role) and deliver integrated health management services (operational role) for dsm-firmenich in NL.
Execute the strategic vision for dsm-firmenich FIT as set by the dsm-firmenich FIT team and DNL; assure the strategic goals are achieved.
Make sure that Health and Wellbeing is a topic on the managerial agenda (business leaders, regionals leaders, works counsel).
Translate developments with respect to Health & Wellbeing at customers side and in the public domain into tactical/operational long/short term plans incl KPI’s, interventions, etc and position DSMF FIT accordingly.
Manage relevant projects in line with the roadmap 2025-2027.
Communications management – set-up, manage and execute a communications year plan.
Contribute to the global strategy on Health & Wellbeing when being consulted by relevant stakeholders.

Preference of extended experience in health and wellbeing (including ARBO/WVP).
Managerial experience & competences.
Proven relentless drive for continuous improvement and performance.
Strong fit with the dsm-firmenich Leadership Model.
Preference of experience communications and project management.
Able to and passionate about building the dsm-firmenich FIT team, creating an inspiring and inclusive work environment, stimulating performance and development of employees.
Fluent speaking Dutch and English.
