Position Overview: The Title III Planner administers all aspects of the Older Americans Act - Title III grants designating Greater Lynn Senior Services as an Area Agency on Aging. Every four years the Title III planner conducts a needs assessment under supervision of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs to create an Area Plan on Aging then provides annual updates to the plan over the next three years.
Position Responsibilities: Develop short- and long-range planning, leadership, vision and development of Title III programs. Prepare required financial, statistical, and written reports and submit according to EOEA established deadlines. Annually monitor compliance and effectiveness of Title III internal and external programs and issue reports to stakeholders. Collaborate with Fiscal and Planning departments to develop Title III budget, including nonfederal match requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Knowledge of Older Americans Act, Title III requirements, and related reporting requirements preferred.
Strong budgeting, writing and research skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Must be able to function independently and as part of a team
Good verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized, independent problem solver, team player, ability to meet deadlines, prioritizes and multitasking
Professional demeanor and ability to handle highly confidential materials with discretion
Hours Part Time, 25 hours per week
