Jacobs Facilities Operations Manager - Lynn, MA in Lynn, Massachusetts

As part of our Facility Management Operations, you’ll join our collaborative Jacobs team at General Electric providing our clients project management and related facilities activities.

Jacobs is looking for a passionate Facilities Project Manager who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo to join our team in Lynn, MA. You’ll support the Facilities Engineering group, as well as Lynn Plant Services in Asbestos Abatement projects as they relate to maintenance, and Physical Plant upgrades / reconfigurations. You will lead small to medium abatement projects related to moves, remodels, modernizations, and reconfigurations. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, and schedules, you’ll help our team achieve our client’s objectives. Your role is to develop and manage project scopes for asbestos abatement, lead and mold remediation and some light demolition. You’ll lead a team of Contracted Abatement / Industrial Hygiene professionals across the GE Aerospace Riverworks Plant. Your partnership with GE leadership is essential as you and your team provide facility support in a variety of areas including project scope development, scheduling, Plant awareness and project completion.

It would also be helpful for the candidate to have some field experience in the general construction industry. The candidate may be requested to assist with construction management of a wide variety of construction projects.

• Bachelor of Science in related field or 10 years of relevant field experience

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

• Experience in procurement, budgeting, or other financial experience

• Experience in a role that requires successful conflict resolution

• Ability to forge and maintain relationships with all levels of leadership and staff.

• Project scheduling and operations oversight

• Ensure project quality and overall project regulatory compliance.

• Knowledge of 29 CFR 1926, including Subpart L (scaffolds)

• OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Training

• HAZWOPPER 40 Hour Supervisor Training

• Asbestos Inspector Experience

• Asbestos Project Monitor Experience

• Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Experience
