System One R&D Lab Technician - Concrete & Mortar Additives in Lyndhurst, New Jersey
Title: R&D Lab Technician
Location: Lyndhurst, NJ
Schedule: M-F First Shift
Type: Contract
Pay: $22/hour (depending upon experience)
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assistance in product development, testing and laboratory housekeeping.
Compound products, prepare lab batches, mixing and casting samples per instruction given by supervisor.
Test laboratory samples, production samples and competitive samples.
Work on minor projects with minimum supervision.
Keep accurate records of test results.
Prepare reports or memos on assigned tasks or projects.
Maintain the mixing equipment in good operating conditions.
Maintain assigned work areas and community work areas clean and tidy.
Store away raw materials, retains, and reference samples in designated areas.
Follow ASTM, ACI and other internal test standards.
Provide support to QS9000, PCP and PSP processes.
Attend all company provided training programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Some industry experiences related to sealants, adhesives, coatings or cement
Able to follow instruction and work independently
Good communicating and writing skill
Basic skill in Microsoft Word and Excel.
