New regulations and the changing compliance landscape in Europe have required Amazon to take the forefront on Selling Partners' compliance through education, offering the right product/solution and, ultimately, acting in the case of non-compliance.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to work on multiple initiatives to simplify product compliance for the Selling Partners. Among other things, a person in this role will work with multiple teams to launch an existing product compliance program enrollment experience for the Selling Partners, to reduce the time and efforts they spend on compliance. As a senior leader you will be responsible for to identify untapped opportunities in the product compliance space, come up with the ideas, develop and launch new products and features to improve the Selling Partners’ experience. The role has high visibility across senior leadership, given the strategic importance of initiatives and impact. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced landscape.

Key job responsibilities

In this role you will use data and anecdotes to identify areas of improvement and unaddressed opportunities in the Selling Partners’ experience related to the product compliance. You will work with multiple Product and Tech teams to influence their roadmaps and drive compliance simplification for the Selling Partners. You will get an opportunity to innovate and experiment, but also to drive an adoption of your ideas across senior leadership and stakeholders.

In this role you will

  • Define, plan and manage the roll out of the program and product features and enhancements based on the legislative changes in the product compliance space

  • Drive adoption growth of rolled out solutions and regularly evaluate customer experience

  • Assess open opportunities to further enhance Selling Partner Experience and remove friction points

  • Develop daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to track progress towards goals and to provide customer insights

  • Measure Improvements and impact of changes, set up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives

  • Manage engagement with multiple stakeholders in US, China and EU including Tax, Legal, Operations, Marketing, Tech.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Experience owning/driving product roadmap strategy

  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable in a data-driven environment. Ability to interpret data and make business recommendations

  • Strong relationship-building skills; experience managing stakeholders and partners to drive cross-functional initiatives

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience of working with tech teams

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments

  • History of developing business strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
