What does EU Trustworthy Listings do? We ensure that products on Amazon deserve the Trust of our customers by ensuring they are safe, compliant and include all information that matters to them.
Examples:
We block tobacco (and 20K other illegal product types)
We remove false claims, e.g. “this pill cures cancer”
We set up process for drivers to ask customers to confirm their age before letting them buy whisky (and any alcoholic beverage, e-cigs, bladed products…)
We collect test results on toys to ensure they cannot cause damage to a child (and for dietary supplements, appliances that can get into fire, baby transportation…)
We display in the website the Energy Efficiency Label (and allergens for food, safety warnings for toys…)
What does the Restricted Products team do? We ensure that there are not illegal products in our website. We ensure our products are offered by qualified Sellers (e.g. medicines by pharmacists). We also ensure Age Restricted products are not delivered to underage. We remove illegal claims that can mislead our customers.
Beyond launching new controls, you will be involved in ensuring the effectiveness of our existing control portfolio through continuous improvement initiatives.

We create and drive programs to ensure compliance with new safety and compliance regulations.

You’ll will be part of a team that manages complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish and work with internal stakeholders (Legal, Tech, Ops, Business) to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks and communicate/report.
Key job responsibilities
We are looking for an independent and organized risk manager with a solid background on project management to join our team. The candidate requires analytical and problem solving skills, ownership, and ability to influence. In this position, the candidate will:
• Work across tech, compliance, operations, and business teams to drive cross-functional projects
• Work with stakeholders to identify resources, assemble project teams, and assign responsibilities.
Assess costs, benefits and risks; anticipate bottlenecks; identify, track and mitigate issues; manage escalations; anticipate and make trade-offs; and balance business needs with technical constraints.
• Clearly communicate goals, responsibilities, issues and status to partners teams and stakeholders.
• Drive effective teamwork, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate local and remote groups with conflicting priorities
• Identify and pursue opportunities to scale and increase our impact.
About the team
The EU Trustworthy Listings team is part of the broader EU Trustworthy Shopping Experience team. We work to ensure that all the products offered In Europe, across the various Amazon business channels, are safe for our customers and compliant with all product and food safety legal requirements. We bring technical expertise leveraging technology solutions to serve Amazon business, suppliers and customers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
