Location: Lutz, FL

Shift Hours: 5:00 am - 5:30 pm
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No
Responsibilities:
The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:
Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
Referring specimens to outside laboratories
Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
Performance of phlebotomy procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Required 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field
Education:
Required High School or equivalent
Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience
Credentials:
- Driver's License
Credential equivalent experience:
- Preferred Phlebotomy
