Job Summary

Avantor®, leading global provider of integrated, tailored solutions for the life sciences and advanced technology industries is looking for a Senior EU Analyst - Business Analytics to join their team!

This position can be performed from any of our business locations, from a home office or a combination of those in the following countries: France, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Finland.

As Senior EU Analyst - Business Analytics, you are responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of all contract compliance for Avantor Services global customers with global service level agreement requirements.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support special and globally relevant AI and big data projects and perform other duties as assigned

  • Ensure the performance on site engagements service level agreement control activities; assists in the development and management of the design and/or implementation of any assigned service level metric project, maintaining all customer contracts, documentation, and communications for the customer globally

  • Perform exploratory data analysis, generate and test working hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical data and identify patterns.

  • Develop and present predictive analytics on services and products

  • Prepare and delivers presentations on insights and provides recommendations for action

  • Visualizing analysis of structured and unstructured data sets

  • Conduct timely and effective research in response to specific requests (e.g. data collection, summarization, analysis and synthesis of relevant data and information)

  • Design, implement and conduct process validation, auditing, quality strategies for customer contract compliance to service level agreements.

  • Ensure ongoing operational standards and readiness’s are delivered for any services introductions and act as the operational gatekeeper in achieving high standards for new metrics established when new services are created under the contract.

  • Maintain and support focus on prioritizing continuous improvement and process quality assurance on locations within the scope of the customer contract service level agreements

  • Provide an effective feedback loop for issues impacting on-site performance. Schedule and facilitate business meetings with all sites and the customer concerning compliance to the contract and service level agreements

  • Train associates as needed on new and existing systems, processes and software relating to the gathering and reporting of analysis and metrics to the customer service level agreements

  • Support associates on day-to-day issues and researching of service level challenges

Your Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • College degree required - BA or BS degree in business from an accredited college or university

  • 5 years of project management and/or business analytics and related experience preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in advanced analytics, model building and statistical modeling

  • Experience in at least one of the following fields: AI or machine learning

  • Experience with data visualizations, statistical modeling, data mining or information retrieval is an advantage

  • Proven project management and process improvement skills, Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

  • You are able to aggregate, normalize and process data by authoring predictive algorithms to synthesize and present actionable data insights

  • You have an innovative mindset and work in an accurate and thorough way, with great attention to detail.

  • You are proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

  • You are able to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment with limited guidance and can lead the work of others

  • You have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written including strong presentation skills

  • You create strong working relationships with others

  • You are well organized and results-driven
