<p>Come and join our Wayfair Engineering family in Lutterworth, helping to keep our distribution operation smoothly running whilst working on cutting edge automation technology.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As a ‘hands on’ Maintenance Engineer you will work both autonomously and cross functionally to maintain, fix and maximize plant &amp; machinery performance whilst keeping the facilities up to tip top condition. As well as:</p>

<ul>

<li>Ensuring effective fault finding, diagnosis, analysis and swift corrective measures are implemented.</li>

<li>Updating and maintaining our CMMS (maintenance system)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

<li>Maintaining process and controls in line with Health &amp; Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance (COSHH, RAMS, PTW).&nbsp;</li>

<li>Ensuring all preventative maintenance checks are carried out OTIF</li>

<li>Management of contractors on site (direct &amp; 3rd party)</li>

<li>Supporting our semi-skilled Operators &amp; Apprentices through training and mentoring to develop their engineering career.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<p>If you are naturally inquisitive, love maintaining and fixing electromechanical equipment whilst working in a global, but family feel business this may be the next role for you.</p>

<p><strong>We are excited to hear from you, if you:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Are qualified in Electrical and/or Mechanical bias BTEC Level 3+</li>

<li>Have proven experience of facilities &amp; maintenance engineering within an automated distribution, food or manufacturing environment.</li>

<li>Demonstrate knowledge of electromechanical equipment (eg conveyors, sorters, box cutters, etc)</li>

<li>Can work autonomously to effectively fault find through root cause analysis and implement quick preventive solutions.</li>

<li>Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.</li>

<li>Display strong PC skills (Microsoft office/ BMS/ maintenance engineering software)</li>

</ul>

<p>Although not essential, any experience of PLC controls, programming or operating with Allen Bradley equipment would be advantageous, however as we love to share knowledge this can all be trained.</p>
