Job Title: Cell Assembly Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Cell Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the production of high-power cells and batteries by operating and maintaining production equipment with a focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain production equipment for winding, welding, punching, and stacking according to process documents and instructions.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and orderly work area following 6S standards.
- Inspect machine outputs using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, meters, and vision systems.
- Follow process specifications to manufacture materials for use in high-power cells, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Develop proficiency in operating additional complex machinery as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably operating complex machinery.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and database usage.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient workstation and optimize product flow.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments with strong magnets and chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail, able to identify and address small variances affecting product quality.
- Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
Working Conditions:
- PPE required includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and full-body gowns.
- Work environment features cooled, low-humidity air in a dry room setting.
- Position involves standing for extended periods and occasional overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift / alternating weeks
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
