Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Auto Hobby Shop at Luke AFB, AZ. This is a Flexible position, no benefits. Lift objects weighing 20 pounds and objects weighing over 50 pounds with assistance Responsibilities If interested in applying for this position you may preview the online application: https://apply.usastaffing.gov/ViewQuestionnaire/12645136 Under the direct supervision of the Auto Hobby Shop Manager and within broad regulations and guidelines, has overall responsibility for the daily operation of the Car wash Facility, Automotive Detailing Operation, and general condition of Auto Hobby Shop Tools and Equipment. Promptly informs supervisor of accidents, malfunctions and/or damage to equipment or vehicles. Performs minor grounds and facility maintenance such as weed removal, trash removal and general housekeeping of facilities. Performs and/ or assists with duties associated with the rental of maintenance stalls, automotivie lifts, to include, but not limited to the following: conducting pre and post inspections of maintenance stalls and equipment with the customer, cash handling, desk top computer operations utilizing Window based software applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Access; tool and equipment contrl and accoutability; completes daily reports such as cashier reports and bank deposits. Answer telephone, greets customers. Provides information and safety practices regarding all aspects of the Auto Hobby Shop operations. Performs preventive and minor maintenance on tools and equipment, occasionally be required to operate passenger and Low Speed Vehicles. Performs other related duties as assigned. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Cash handling, ability to safe guard funds and equipment, resolve common arithmetic problems and make change. Knowledge of office automation software (Microsoft Excel and Word) is required. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
