Are you passionate about technology, experienced in technical solutions and workflows? Do you have in-depth domain knowledge in BIM, digital transformation and Autodesk solutions? Then this position may fit to you!

Focused on Germany, Austria & Switzerland, you will work with our existing technical resources, sales teams and Autodesk partners.

As a trusted advisor and technical expert you will manage technical aspects of pre-sales conversations with customers to help them achieve their business goals. You will as well support our Autodesk partners in their sales efforts and enablement.

You will report to the Technical Sales Manager responsible for Central Europe (DACH & Eastern Europe), which means you will be part of a large, international team which again is part of an EMEA-wide organization.

We support hybrid working, but candidates must be based in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical discovery sessions with customers to identify their challenges and vision, and inspire them on both

  • Deliver value propositions, technical presentations, respond to commercial proposals, assess feasibility, and suitability of proposed solutions

  • Consult customers in terms of solutions customization, data integrations and APIs

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the current technologies, industry trends and best practices/ business processes

  • Apply in-depth understanding of business processes and industry knowledge to develop new customer specific workflows. (Based on BIM Solutions, collaboration tools, interoperability processes and data workflows.)

  • Develop technical content and presentations for use in pre-sales activities

  • Summarize and articulate customer needs and provide feedback to product development teams

  • Provide product and workflow presentations at customer-facing events

  • Promote Autodesk solutions through digital platforms to build their industry profile and be respected as a technical expert

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in the AEC industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction)

  • 3+ years of industry experience

  • Excellent command of German and English

  • Technical knowledge of some core Autodesk solutions (e.g. AEC Collection, Revit, cloud solutions) and ability to learn additional

  • Understanding of data integrations & workflows, web development and coding skills, knowledge of extending core software capabilities (such as automation, visualization, data manipulation)

  • Understanding of BIM for Buildings and/or Infrastructure workflows

  • Ability to present and to convince self-reliant also in front of large audiences

  • Works self-contained and reliable, is a team player and works efficient (also virtual) with other colleagues in other locations

  • Shows high engagement, personal responsibility, motivation and inspiration

  • Able to travel DACH, EMEA and global
