Covenant Health Senior Manager Project Management - Administration in Lubbock, Texas

Description

This position is responsible for managing complex projects endorsed by Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for leading and facilitating multidisciplinary teams by partnering with the Chief Operating Officer on strategy development and implementation, growth of existing targeted services, identification and evaluation of launching new business opportunities according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. Interaction with Covenant Leadership and management, data collection, monitoring, analysis of trends related to outcomes, improvement plans, and reporting are key processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Systems, Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Public Health Administration, Business or related field. Or equivalent education/experience.

  • Bachelors degree (Master preferred) in related field plus 4 years experience in a similar role in a comparable or larger institution. Prior experience in an increasingly responsible, large, complex project management role(s) in comparable or larger institutions may be substituted for the educational requirement.

  • 6 years Experience in project management preferably within a healthcare setting.

  • 4 years Leadership experience which can be met by direct supervisory experience, lead experience, project management experience, or other related experience

  • 2 years Direct supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Health Systems, Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Public Health Administration, Business or related field.

  • PMI certification upon hire.
