City of Lowell - Senior Center Part-Time Bus Driver in Lowell, Massachusetts
SUMMARY Bus Driver is responsible for providing transportation to and from Council in Aging/Senior Center for programs and outreach assistance and assisting seniors on and off the bus. Salary & Hours: \$22.00 per hour; 20 Hours ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide transportation to seniors to and from the Council on Aging/Senior Center.
- Assists the seniors in boarding and leaving the bus.
- Must have CDL licence to operate buses (passenger transport).
- If accident occurs driver must fill out accident form.
- Responsible for the security and upkeep of the Council on Aging bus, to include: Keeping bus free of debris, washing windows, sweeping floor, washing seats, etc. Driver is also responsible for the insuring the weekly gas fill-up and monitoring of necessary oil changes, etc
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have CDL drivers license with passenger transport endorsement, DOT medical card, and maintain a good driving record.
