The Senior Tax Accountant completes moderately complex tax assignments. The Senior Tax Accountant may assist in coordinating a small team of Tax Accountants to provide technical assistance to the tax department. The Senior Tax Accountant must adhere to all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations in accordance with Arvests policies and procedures.

What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Prepares and submits for review moderately complex federal pro forma tax returns.
Prepares and submits for review moderately complex state income tax returns.
Performs the initial review of less complex federal and state income tax returns.
Prepares and submits for review moderately complex quarterly tax provision calculations.
Performs initial review of less complex monthly tax provision calculations.
Prepares and submits for review tax schedules required for federal bank reporting.
Assists with the completion of various tax related projects such as tax credits, fixed asset review, and state apportionment.
Reviews annual information reporting data prepared by all entities in the bank group and communicates necessary changes as needed.
Research moderately complex tax issues and reports findings.
Performs quarterly analysis of internal financial information for new tax implications.
Responds to correspondence from governmental revenue bodies under general supervision.
Researches and interprets tax laws and/or tax accounting rules and regulations applicable to new lines of businesses and transactions.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
