Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, scheduling repairs, and installations of new equipment to ensure smooth production.

  • Oversee dismantling and rebuilding of machines and tools.

  • Manage requisition and supply of new/spare parts for maintenance, capital expenditures and daily consumables.

  • Contractor management: Lead and assigns tasks to maintenance contractors, interpret plans, and prioritizes work.

  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program with contractors, supervisors, CNC operators and OEM suppliers.

  • Ensure all department employees are properly trained in various tasks related to the maintenance and safety of equipment.

  • Enforce company safety and environmental policies related to machinery, regulation, and internal GE policies within the workplace.

  • Hazard control: Manage hazardous materials and wastewater treatment related to all aspects of the facilities which includes understanding and developing processes that meet all state and local regulations.

  • Act as Security Leader for site, which includes managing internal security framework to comply with all internal and external policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in facilities management, EHS, and/or CNC machine shop management)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, EHS, and/or CNC machine shop management

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience reading blueprints

Desired Characteristics:

  • 4+ years of experience writing blueprints/drawings with ability to work in 2D CAD system

  • Knowledge of CNC equipment including mills, lathes, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines

  • Outstanding organizational and influencing leadership skills

  • Extensive knowledge of preventative maintenance planning, budgetary allocation, and TPM development and management

  • Strong ability to utilize project planning software such as Maximo, Excel, and/or Microsoft Project

  • Experience in material procurement and management

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
