Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a skilled Analytical Instrumentation Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control of scientific analytical instruments, including TOC analyzers. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical and electrical experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and expertise in quality control processes. This role will involve equipment alignment, calibration, and root cause analysis to maintain high performance standards and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on scientific analytical instruments, particularly TOC analyzers.
Conduct quality control checks and root cause failure analyses to identify and address equipment issues.
Interpret technical drawings and ensure precise alignment and calibration of equipment using various power tools.
Utilize engineering knowledge to maintain and improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Independently manage work tasks with a high degree of initiative and attention to detail.
Maintain accurate documentation and records through Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, SAP Propel Premier, and Salesforce systems.
Manage inventory and part orders, ensuring proper logging and database entry.
Support engineering and quality control teams through alignment, calibration, and troubleshooting guidance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on scientific analytical instruments and quality control.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintenance of TOC analyzers and related equipment.
Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
Familiarity with calibration and alignment tools, and quality control methodologies.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, SAP Propel Premier, Salesforce, and database management.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Additional experience in database management and quality assurance.
Knowledge of sensor technologies and calibration processes.
Education:
An Associate's degree or equivalent certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $25.00 per hour
