Reporting to the Area Manager, the Operator I, Shipping & Receiving is responsible for the timely and accurate packaging of domestic customer orders. This position may also assist other Shipping positions to enable the team to reach the department performance goals.
This position is located in Loveland, CO and will be on-site.
WORK SCHEDULE AND SHIFT:
This is a first shift role , Monday through Friday, working from from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
There is a rotating day once a week, coming in at 8 am and working until 4:30 pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Packs orders for domestic shipment.
Ensures order accuracy by comparing the items picked against the items listed on the pick note
Responsible for the packaging of items using approved Hach packing methods.
Responsible for the proper selection and usage of packing materials, and the marking and labeling of packages to meet specific carrier requirements and DOT regulations per the pick note instructions.
Assists the other Shipping & Receiving functions and restocks packing and shipping supplies.
The role will assist with Receiving responsibilities as directed and will be expected to assist across multiple job responsibilities in the Shipping, Receiving, and Consolidation areas.
Responsibilities will include accurate computer transactions, unloading deliveries by hand, with a 2-wheel dolly, and with a manual pallet jack, and accurately sorting inventory to the correct production area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
HS diploma / GED required.
6 months of distribution experience
Basic math and reading skills are required.
Strict attention to detail regarding order fulfillment and accuracy.
Some areas will require to work with manual and/or power equipment.

The employee is constantly required to stand/or sit (select locations, see below), squat, turn/twist, reach, use hands to: finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. The employee is frequently required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell.
The Loveland facility requires continuous standing for duration of the shift. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds and/or occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which may include: eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective smock, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $19.00 - $19.95 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
