Job Title: Loan Assistant Supervisor I Location: 808 West Eisenhower Boulevard Loveland, CO 80537 Employee Type: Non-Exempt Full-Time Hiring Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.50 per hour The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education. This position may be eligible to receive an additional $1.00 per hour if designation is approved under the Spanish Communication Assistant Program.

Summary Responsible for the supervision of Loan Assistants who provide support to Lenders of the assigned department in loan preparation, processing, closing and maintenance; customer interface with regard to loan processing, closing and general customer service; support for the Loan Operations Department within the capacity of Loan Operations; performing daily operations duties as well as monthly reconciliation of accounts; and customer interface with regard to loan operations and general customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists Relationship Managers with loan applications through the entire loan process. Supervises Loan Assistants within the assigned region. Responsible for hiring, training, development, performance evaluation and disciplinary counseling of this staff. Ensures Loan Assistants are informed of changes in applicable bank procedures, regulations, laws and policies that impact them, and implement necessary training. Communicates with Loan Operations to help prevent potential errors or inefficiencies. Provides direction in preparing loan requests and reviews required loan documents with close attention to detail. Requests and coordinates loan document preparation. Orders documentation, such as title policies, flood certificates, lien searches, appraisals, insurance, payoffs, participation certificates, etc. Alerts Lenders to any concerns necessary to ensure security Books and activates closed loans on bank systems. Creates and maintains loan files for completeness. Audits loan files, maintains tickler-tracking system to ensure materiality and accurate financial information for necessary supporting documentation is in the file. Requests updated information for expiring documentation. Performs funds transfers between accounts, draws, wires, loan advances, loan payments, etc. Processes loan payoffs and prepares appropriate collateral releases. Follow bank procedures. Performs required department audits. Ensures the security interest for all loans is filed/recorded within the required timeframe. Encourages staff to consistently communicate with Relationship Managers and Loan Operations. May perform testing of loan processes to ensure compliance and accuracy. Provides general customer service as required. Actively participates in and plans various, regional, branch, and departmental leadership meetings. Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the posit Maintains communication with the Bank's legal and compliance teams. Exceeds quality of service as defined by department and company standards. Maintains confidentiality as defined by department and company standards. Supports the company's Mission, Vision, and Values. Maintains consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, banking regulations, and bank policies and procedures related to the position. Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Minimum of 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of banking products, services and operational procedures. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to work effectively and proactively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
